Margaret Hall was the first women's dormitory on campus. It contained dorm rooms, classrooms and laboratories for the Ladies' Course, a gymnasium , a pool and the College dining room. Gentlemen were allowed in the dining hall only during meal times and were allowed in the parlor during limited hours.
