Anyone wished that AOT continued as a post apocalyptic survival horror anime that Season 1 teased? And not the political complex story with Marley & the world we got where we learn that the apocalypse has yet to come. Don't get me wrong, that story is brilliant & really kicked up at S4.

Jul 20, 2023 · Isn't AOT basically a Kaiju + Zombie Apocalypse mix story? for like the first 25 chapters maybe. Aot is still Kaiju Adjacent confirmed. I think that's a little obvious. Its more like a mech anime but the mechs are made out of meat. Sort of a Pacific Rim like story.

High School Of The Dead is exactly as it sounds. The high school of the main characters becomes infested with zombies. So they’re forced to ditch it. Almost all their friends die-off and become zombies. The similarities between this and AOT is obvious: an outside threat that NEEDS to be eliminated.
