Students need both a class key and an access code to fully access the course. Class keys place you in the correct class. Access codes give you paid access to the class materials. Your instructor provides a class key if he or she has chosen to use self-enrollment for your class.

Enter your access code on your Cengage dashboard to gain access to your online course materials. Your access code is proof of purchase for your courseware or eBook. If you purchased from a bookstore or other retailer, you must apply your access code to your account to access course materials after the grace period.

Purchase access to your course materials online. Contact your instructor for help purchasing your access code. On your dashboard, click Purchase WebAssign or Open WebAssign next to your course, then click Buy Now.

You can enter an access code purchased at a bookstore—or pay for WebAssign access online—any time during the grace period. How do I add a class using a class key? You need to contact your instructor to get the class key specific to your class.

Enroll in your WebAssign course at getenrolled.com. Go to getenrolled.com. Enter your class key and click Access Course. Click Continue. If needed, sign in or create a Cengage account.

You don't need to enroll yourself or create your WebAssign account. Click Sign In. Enter your email address and click Next. Enter your password and click Sign In.

To use WebAssign, your instructor must provide you with either a username and password for WebAssign or a class key, such as "myschool 1234 5678." Check your syllabus for this information, or ask a TA or your instructor.

Purchase an access code card separately at your bookstore, and enter the code after logging into WebAssign. Purchase an access code online after logging into your WebAssign account. This method is the easiest because WebAssign automatically provides a correct code for each course.
