PG&E and SDG&E are already providing Green Button data to approximately 6 million consumers in California and SCE plans to provide the data to its 4 million customers later this year.

The initial phase of the Green Button Initative is called Download My Data and allows customers to download their electricity usage data from their utility’s website by clicking on a green button.
