We’re not seeing this smaller icon reflected anywhere else, like on iOS, so we’ll have to wait and see if this is an intentional change to the brand.

While Dynamic Island makes it easier to run custom app icon shortcuts, other limitations still exist. The most notable is that custom app icons still cannot show notification badges like normal apps.
