Students living in census tracts where test scores are the lowest will still have priority over neighborhood kids in San Francisco’s school assignment system, the school board decided Tuesday night.

Improvements to the Assignment Interactive Module known as AIM 2.0 will ensure an even better user experience before the next assignment cycle, leaders said.
