MLGW is seeing the effects of Tropical Depression Francine in the form of torrential rains and wind gusts up to 25 mph. Outages have affected a total of 22,766 customers, with 10,613 at the peak. About 8,000 customers affected at press time.

MLGW prepares for cold weather by tracking the weather, having additional crews on standby, and ensuring vehicles are equipped with necessary tools. Tree trimming crews cleared over 1600 miles in 2024 to help reduce electric outages caused by falling limbs.

Jan 2, 2025 · The Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW) Downtown Community Office will close for repairs at 4 p.m. on Friday January 3. All MLGW Community Offices have payment drop boxes for customers to pay by check or money order. Customers can also manage their accounts and make payments using MyAccount.

Dec 28, 2022 · MLGW customers and partners, By now, most of you already know the good news: our water system is well on its way to full recovery. For most of our system, customers are enjoying normal pressure and water availability. I anticipate that by the morning all our customers should be restored to normal pressures.
