After a bit more research, it was originally a custom image that got popular, used in YouTube thumbnails, and it would also be fitting knowing there’s these emojis 👮‍♀️🚔💰🦸‍♂️ (superhero has the mask) and some people depict the exact same cash bag over it’s left shoulder, stripped black and white sure with a black beanie.

Aug 31, 2021 · Okay so you might’ve heard of how the robber emoji doesn’t actually exist, even thought people vividly remember one. I might have an explanation for that but I got no proof on me (atm) but just hear me out. I’m 100% sure that the robber emoji was never an optional emoji, however I’m also 99% sure a custom one WAS made for an advertisement.

Sep 24, 2022 · I googled "robber clipart" and lo and behold there are a ton of 2d robbers, all somewhat different, but all fitting my description of the robber emoji. Just search and click images, and you'll see what I mean. The figure most of us are describing for the emoji is the most commonly used way to depict a robber.

I don’t know if that’s because the phone has been off for a few years now and the emoji system has updated so many times, but it’s definitely odd. This emoji would have came from skype or team speak (It's been 9 years since I used team speak. I don't remember it ever having emoji's). We were talking one day and she starts to mention an emoji for black people. I was confused and asked her what she was talking about. She linked me the emoji and it was the robber person.
