WEBJul 1, 2015 · I SORN'd my car online in April (as I wasn't going to be using it) and got an email confirmation with the same 16 digit ref no. as the tax reminder I'd received through the post (I SORN'd a couple of days before the tax was due rather than "mid-cycle"). I'm now trying to tax the car online, but the website says my vehicle details cannot be found.
