Dr. Walter Jackson has served in public education for 30 years; he has served as a teacher, assistant principal, middle and high school principal, area superintendent, and currently superintendent of schools in La Porte ISD.

To be eligible to register as a student in La Porte ISD, all students must present the following documentation during registration: Proof of Residency – Recent utility bill (water, gas, light) or a lease agreement with parent/guardian’s name and address on it.
