Jan 8, 2014 · Western cultures usually connect a crow with bad, evil and unlucky phenomena. However, among Ainu, indigenous tribes of Japanese islands, crow is a bird which sacrificed itself so that evil could not destroy the Sun, and with it the whole world. I believe that Kishimoto used this concept when he chose a crow as a symbol for Itachi.

Itachi knows a time-delay jutsu. He presumably spends the needed chakra first, and programs it into the object to activate when certain circumstances are met. He did this with Sasuke's eyes for when they meet with Obito's eyes, he did it with the crow for when it meets Itachi's eyes.

Itachi stores the crow inside Naruto in chapter 403, during the Itachi Pursuit arc. Itachi used a shadow clone to talk to Naruto, who wasn't willing to listen. As such, Itachi was forced to use a Genjutsu in order to make him listen. He uses a Genjutsu as a distraction: And then the crow is stored (physically, I think) inside of Naruto:

Apr 12, 2018 · Basically, the Itachi's crows symbolize Itachi himself occupying the role of a seemingly typical Tengu: he uses illusion, deception, and chaos to achieve his goals. However, unlike a Tengu (especially according to the ancient Japanese Buddhist view), he ultimately had good intentions and had the mindset of the ends justifying the means.

Itachi’s crow was the real thing, because Itachi literally forced it into Naruto’s body and then it was used against Itachi during the early stages of the war. It just breaks all believability, even by anime standards, that Itachi can force an entire crow down somebody’s mouth …

Nov 18, 2013 · Uchihas tend to be very affiliated with birds. Theres plenty of evidence for it: Itachi's crows, Madara's falcon, Sasukes hawk, i mean look at sasukes 'curse mark' form, it has wings, (which, by my own theories, is a sign that he has a predisposition to bird-summonings)

Oct 22, 2023 · I think the crow clone is more taxing, especially considering his condition. But it was just more of an advantage offensively, defensively, and way more versatile and adaptable to his arsenal, like putting the eye in the crow and giving it to naruto, or when he wanted to delay sauske trailing him, or trap kabuto in the izanami.

By putting Akatsuki and Hanzo against each other would benefit Danzo as he’s killing 2 birds with 1 stone. He just didn’t bank on one of the Akatsuki members having a Rinnegan. Danzo wasn’t a psychopath. He was someone that would do anything to protect his village. Itachi did it. Madara had the right idea and so did Tobirama.
