Aug 16, 2013 · Gudrun was unique as her dorsal fin was remarkably straight. For reference, 100% of captive male orcas have collapsed fins, and most of the adult females. Her straight dorsal fin made her an ideal animal for photo opportunities (good PR).

Gudrun fue una madre excelente para Taima y tenía muy buenos instintos maternales. Su buen comportamiento fue un alivio para SeaWorld pues a pesar de no haber observado y aprendido de otras orcas a como cuidar de un bebé, se las apañó muy bien con Taima.
