May 18, 2012 · I do Setting->Style Configurator->Select Theme: Monokai-> A few CSS and HTML font color configs-> Save & Close. The reset only happens after a full shutdown and restart. It doesn't happen when I just close and re-open NP++. It happens because you are not running the program as administrator.

Apr 30, 2020 · As @Alan-Kilborn already said, you can see what font your Notepad++ is configured to use by using the Settings menu, selecting Style Configurator; in the Language column, pick Global Styles; in the Styles column, pick Default Style; look to the right of that dialog box; the font pulldown will show which font you have selected.

Sep 2, 2016 · In Notepad++ you can use all installed fonts. So download the consolas OpenType file, run it and click Install. From there you should be able to select it in Notepad++. Make sure to check "Enable global font" (also font size, and the various global font styles).

Jul 18, 2022 · If you want Default Dark Mode to look like Monokai, then all you have to do is copy the contents of the Monokai theme file into the Default Dark Mode theme file. That way, any time you switch to Dark Mode, it will automatically switch to something that looks like Monokai.

Apr 27, 2015 · If you want to make notepad++ use a darker theme and the same text colours as sublime text do the following: Settings >> Style Configurator. 1) Select Theme = Monokai 2) Style >> Default Style >> Font Name = Consolas 3) Font Size = 12. Now save and close the window. Restart Notepad++

Sep 5, 2023 · When changing the default font for any theme, it should only update the <Global Styles>|<WidgetStyle name="Global override"> tag to the font I selected. When comparing the original .xml file and the updated .xml, there should only be 1 change.
