Jul 24, 2020 · On occasion, all my chrome tiles will disappear from my Start Menu...usually following a W10 update. It's very frustrating. I've stopped trying to customize my start menu directly with Chrome shortcuts. My solution is to use standard Windows folders to hold my Chrome shortcuts...and pin those folders to the start menu.

Nov 27, 2017 · If that doesn't work, open the C;Programs Files folder for Google, find the Chrome application, send a shortcut to desktop. Next, enable Hidden view and open this folder- C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and copy/move the desktop shortcut to this folder.

Oct 20, 2015 · This dreaded issue of missing start menu icons/tiles after gaming is back with build 10586.71. Played an hour of Witcher 3 to return to blank tiles on the start menu. Two things have changed on my system, one or both bringing this issue back. Windows 10 version 10586.71 "update" and NVidia "WHQL" certified driver 361.75.
