Founded in 1917, we are best known for fighting blindness, but we also volunteer for many different kinds of community projects - including caring for the environment, feeding the hungry and aiding seniors and the disabled. Lions give sight.

May 26, 2022 · The Cactus Lions Club, Elmwood West Lions Club, Abilene Evening Lions Club, Abilene Founders Lins Club, and the Abilene-Wylie Lions Club all offer a "holiday flag service" and they're not alone, local boy scout troops help the Lions clubs by going out and putting up the flags at day-break and taking them down in the evenings at dusk.
