May 1, 2012 · I need an app that has the basic recording features of Audacity, the Windows/Mac audio editing/recording program. By that, I mean an app that I can record one track, and overdub it with another track with the first one playing. Anyone know of such a thing? I've Googled it, and searched this forum.

May 1, 2012 · I never went looking for Audacity functionality, but there are a few multitrack recording apps that have been arpund for a longer time than our phone. They work fine for demoing or for creative, lo-fi recording. They are very noisy if you don't record using a headset (for isolation). Open the play store and search for this exactly: "4track"

May 1, 2011 · For evp a standard voice recorder app should get the job done on any ghostly whispers. There are no"look there's a ghost!" apps that work (other than for ripping you off). But the tricorder app does let you detect magnetic fields if your phone contains that sensor. However a phone isn't the most precise thing in the world.

Jun 22, 2016 · I read Chanchan's message earlier this morning. It reminded me that I used to use Audacity to do this prior to my Galaxy S5. I didn't have my thinking cap on last night cyberdman, I'll download the new version. I haven't put it back on my computer since a hdd failure last Fall. Thanks guys! Monica

Aug 21, 2014 · But I haven't opened the Samsung App in last 24 minutes into this early 3/25. So how did it get installed through the Samsung Store if I wasn't in the Store app in last half hour?!! I was in Samsung Store app about 3 hours before around 9:30pm EST and there were Samsung Update available. But none were TikToK and I didn't install. Very curious.

Feb 17, 2025 · Unfortunately, when I go into the store I don't see any updates available. The new version released is 15.0.02.13 if any one wants to check and see if they got it. You can check through the Galaxy Store or by going to settings in the camera app itself and clicking about About Camera. I'm still on 15.0.01.71.

Jan 21, 2025 · The app you showed me in your PM to me called "android.uid.samsungcloud.5009" is the system name for Samsung Cloud Assistant. There are a number of threads on Reddit and elsewhere asking about it. It's not unusual for certain system apps to be reported using their system name in certain areas of the settings menu.

Sep 15, 2017 · I sent it in to Samsung for $70 repair. They basically replaced everything on the phone including the main board. Then I get the phone back and I cannot get past the hands free activation screen. I sent the phone back to Samsung and they have the audacity to tell me it's fuctioning 100%!
