Planning Commission meets every 4th Monday night at 6:00pm at the Hanceville Civic Center. Industrial Development Board meets every 1st Thursday night at 6:00pm at the Hanceville Civic Center.

The Hanceville City Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. The work session begins at 5:00pm and the council meeting is at 5:30pm.

Hanceville Parks offer tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, a swimming pool, picnic pavilions, playground areas, and a walking trail for citizens to enjoy. The city's brand new Senior Center recently opened and is a much-needed upgrade for our Senior Citizens.
