Jan 16, 2012 · Since the FWC Fleet Shell is a lighter unit, maybe a solution or possibly temporary solution would be to get airbags, but another poster said that airbags don’t work with coil springs. I keep going back and forth on getting a 2022 Tacoma vs a 2024. I realize the new Tacoma is untested but all those new upgrades are tempting.
2024 Tacoma with FWC? - Wander The West
Nov 18, 2007 · Drove the 2024 Tacoma yesterday and much more impressed. Was going to upgrade older Taco leaf springs at minimum. Now reconsidering. Saw your comment here and wondered if you could offer any advice. FWC not currently putting Fleet on 2024 Tacomas but think they are getting closer and I am willing to wait some.
FWC - Project M - Wander The West
May 25, 2015 · There is a considerable amount of storage on the FWC flatbeds compared to the slide-ins. Under the bed alone, which is something that should be done anyway. Moving the water heater, battery, LP further outboard and lower for CG, better rear seating room with storage, more floorspace esp. with two adults and a mutt or two.
FWC Fleet on F250 | Wander The West
Jan 4, 2025 · We have a FWC Fleet that was installed on a Tacoma, but we just traded the Tacoma in for an F250 and would like to continue to use the camper. We need to build some sort of platform so the camper will clear the increased hight of the bed rails and cab, at least 6 inches thick by my measurements.

FWC Install- do you have to wire to the truck?
Dec 18, 2024 · Since installing my own solar panels and controller, the FWC original battery separator has never worked as it should (it closes ok, but never opens the contactor.) I even bought a replacement unit, but it does the same thing. It's wired correctly, but even this retired electrical engineer can't figure out why.
FWC Ranger II - Wander The West
Jul 9, 2017 · Purchased a FWC Ranger on a whim this weekend sight unseen and had it delivered to me by a friend. I just came home to check it out and had a few questions for you experts. (New to this forum by a few minutes, posted on another site then found wander the west) I believe I've seen a few Ranger campers that have had the angle area on the back cut ...

FWC Locking Turnbuckles - Do They Work? Long Enough?
Nov 18, 2007 · I wouldnt buy these from FWC, although they are an improvement over standard. We have had many of the standard turnbuckles hooks break. Finally bought these and while they are annoying to install on out Fleet, they are much stronger. Even after a year long trip, they didnt loosen. Shorter ones for the front, longer for the rear. FWC Electrical basics and upgrading to lithium!
Jan 19, 2022 · 100ah of lithium is probably adequate for many FWC users, but 200ah means the typical user would never need to worry about having enough battery, and is worth considering. Battleborn batteries are kind of the standard, but if space is an issue other very good batteries are available with different form factors.
