Apr 13, 2023 · If you want to save and get a yaris still, I prefer the 2012-2014 models for their styling and the LE for more features and softer suspension over the stiffer sport suspension s and se. 2011 and prior models have the odd instrument cluster in the center of the console.

It was a yaris, so it wasnt particularly fast or powerful, but it was pretty reliable for the 3 years I had it before moving up to a corolla. Easy to work on as well sense the engine bay was so open. That generation though had an issue it seemed like with the blue paint color and every one Ive seen had the paibt flaking off.

Mar 16, 2024 · The rivets need to be drilled out and then you swap your Yaris one onto the 1zz throttle body. New rivets or bolts are needed to reattach it. The screw you’re looking for is under a blob of epoxy that they apply at the factory to prevent the screw from coming loose, and probably to prevent folks from messing with it.
