Sep 19, 2013 · Guys, for what may be the first time in my existence on this forum, I've decided to open up a simple "what if" discussion on Shining Armor and how he treated Twilight at the wedding rehearsal, and the "what if" part asks the possibility of "A Canterlot Wedding" becoming a three-parter or an extended two-parter (which obviously didn't happen).

Apr 25, 2013 · Shining Armor's talent definitely has something to do with protection since we saw his protection barrier spell in A Canterlot Wedding. So, since he is the captain of the Royal Guard, and the Royal Guards sole purpose is to protect the Princesses from any danger/threat. His talent is to put up protection barriers and protect anyone from harm.

This is way more powerful than the magical barrier we just saw back then. So Shining Armor regained his power to see true love and fake ones. He is now himself again. They did this by finding true love.

My guess is things would be pretty close either way about it. As long as Shining is on his "A" game and doesn't let Mac near him he could take home a flawless victory.

Look I know she is royalty and it is wrong to insult royalty. But shouldn't Shining Armour simply reassure her ''Look Twilight, she is not evil. Everything will be OK''.

I didn't meant it's canon only princesses can be alicorns, but that's what have been shown so far, so I said that Hasbro wanted the princesses to look more special than other ponies, no wonder why Twilight became one just right after receiving her wings, as said by Celestia she's a princess now.

Now, this alicorn is the baby of Cadence and Shining Armor, and I was wondering why the baby is an alicorn if Shining Armor is only a unicorn and cadence isn't naturally an alicorn.

Apr 22, 2012 · IMO, Shining Armor's cutie mark represents his duty to his sister, and to always protect her. The reference being her signature six-star cutie mark enclosed within a shield and this shield also represents the sense of duty he upholds to defending Canterlot.
