Eugene Harrison Roche (September 22, 1928 – July 28, 2004) was an American actor and the original "Ajax Man" in 1970s television commercials.

Born in Depression-era Boston on September 22, 1928, he was the son of a Navy man. Roche started on radio at age 15, displaying a knack for character voices, both men and women.

He accumulated nearly 200 film, television, and stage credits over the span of four decades and is well-known for his work on such sitcoms as Soap, Webster, and Perfect Strangers.
