More than 8,000 trainees every year are hosted at the SLB Middle East & Asia Learning Center (MLC) in Abu Dhabi. Inaugurated in 2007, the MLC is one of the largest SLB training and learning centers. Students at the MLC can experience the complete well life cycle and understand the overlap and interaction between different tasks at the well site.

Learning and development are at the center of Schlumberger. At the company’s various learning facilities, training is delivered through classroom-based instruction, practical hands-on simulations and the latest interactive learning technologies such as virtual reality.

The Middle East Learning Center is not the only training center that Schlumberger has, and there are few of them in Europe, Russia and in the U.S. All these centers are well-known in oil industry and have their own history and legacy. But the MLC is quite unique.
