I ran small gpu benchmarks using MSI Kombustor and saw that the overclocked had 2 fps and 200 points higher than default clock (28fps, 1600 points on normal. 30fps, 1800 points on oc).

Cpus are not that great for training as the threads don't seem scale as they do with other software and same for running models. If time is money and you model is realtime then you might need a GPU it will make no difference other than time.

Sep 4, 2022 · 3050 will do fine in most cases unless you're rendering. I'd say throw 16GB RAM and a 6-8 core CPU > 3.4Ghz (eg Ryzen 7 5800X, i5 12600K) at it and see how you go. Good single thread CPU performance will help a lot. Also consider a cheap Quadro if you can find a laptop specced with one.
