The R30 was a New York City Subway car model built by St. Louis Car Company from 1961 to 1962. The cars were a "follow-up" or supplemental stock for the B Division's R27s and closely resembled them. A total of 320 cars were built, arranged in married pairs.

Several R-30 cars went west to Hollywood where they were used in the films Die Hard with a Vengeance, Blade, and Money Train. 8408 appeared in all three films. Car 8394 returned to New York City in 2014 and was installed in an ASICS athletic gear shop in Times Square.

The R30 was available as a two-door hardtop coupé, a four-door sedan, a five-door Liftback (available only in the R30 generation), or a four-door station wagon. In all, there were 26 variations of the R30 Skyline available.

The Renault R30 was a Formula One motor racing car designed and built by Renault for the 2010 season. The car was driven by Robert Kubica and rookie Vitaly Petrov. Test drivers were Ho-Pin Tung, Jérôme d'Ambrosio and Jan Charouz. It was unveiled on January 31, 2010, at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. [4]
