Mar 11, 2002 · we are trying to replicate the old Bally custom chips found in the Bally Professional Arcade, aka Astrocade, home video game console, and in quite a few Bally/Midway arcade games-like Gorf, Robby Rotto, Seawolf II, Wizard of Wor, etc. Their function has been emulated too, by MESS and MAME.

To program the FPGA you need the Quartus Programmer which can be downloaded from the Intel Website for free. Intel has discontinued support for Cyclone II by end of 2021 and will eventually remove version 13.0sp1 from the download section ( the used FPGA for BallyFA is quite old ,and therefor cheap.
