Oct 17, 2024 · I use my 4060 Ti with PCIe 4.0 x4 (via Oculink) which has the same bandwidth as your PCIe 3.0 x8 and I have encountered no noticeable slowdowns or performance bottlenecks compared to other 4060 Tis using the full 4.0 x8. You should be fine.

Aug 17, 2023 · Because this case (Thermaltake Core P90 TG) was released in 2017 (the PCIe 4.0 standard was released on June 8th of that year, so no brand had implemented it yet at that time), it came standard with a PCIe 3.0 riser cable. Due to that, my graphics card is now connected with PCIe 3.0 x 16, see pic below.

Same for PCIe 1.0 and PCIe 3.0. You only start seeing anything noticeable when you're running a tri or quad SLi/CrossfireX setups where every MB/s counts.
