El Nou Estadi Costa Daurada es va inaugurar l’1 de febrer de 1972 amb partit amistós entre el Gimnàstic de Tarragona i el FC Barcelona, que va acabar amb victòria blaugrana (0-1) amb gol de Martí Filosia. El primer partit oficial es va jugar el 13 de febrer de 1972 contra l’Ontinyent FC.

El Nou Estadi és l’estadi del Nàstic. Construit al 1972, està situat al barri tarragoní de la Vall de l’Arrabassada i és el cinquè estadi en capacitat de Catalunya amb 14.591 seients.
