Dec 18, 2024 · IMO, the new CZ/COLT Pythons decimated the shooter grade vintage Python market because those were the only ones available if you wanted to shoot one, until now. The ANIB/LNIB/NIB vintage Pythons still demand a premium and even sought after examples are still reaching new highs, so collectors shouldn’t be worried.

Nov 24, 2023 · My Python was worth the money to me, and since they are selling very well I guess others think so too. There are always grumblers who will disagree. Such is life. The new production Python is a solid gun and in many ways an improvement on the older design. It will handle all the magnum ammo you can afford. If there is a problem Colt will fix it.

Feb 14, 2022 · Colt must have changed the rear sight channel, my new stainless 2020 Python is as tight in the channel as my 1982 Python, mid 80's King Cobra and new 2021 Anaconda rear sights. As far as windage the rear sight has a small set screw to hold it in position.

May 20, 2023 · the “new” Python is a great gun, just as it is shipped. Add the Wilson Combat sites (here the square, serrated rear and white gold bead front), Badger grips (black walnut, gloss finish) and the Heffron tune, and this thing shoots lights out.
