If you take a minute to understand Milo's composition versus say LESCO you'll see that Milo gives a lot more iron than Lesco. Milo claims its guaranteed analysis is 2.5% iron, while Lesco is 3%.

I am picking up my slit seedeer on Saturday to overseed my Kentucky bluegrass lawn with perennial rye grass. Zone 6b. I have milorganite ready to go for the labor day application. Since I would have to walk on the newly seeded lawn I was thinking about doing the milo and the starter fertilizer at the same time, just before slit seeding. Is that too much for the new seed?
