Wonder what decisions drove them to a smaller chassis when it makes more common sense to go with larger heat sink in a larger chassis to keep fan noise minimal.

Pro M4 modal comes with standard 24GB AND thunderbolt 5 ports for additional 400 dollars but modal choice depends entirely on your workflow. 200 dollars for RAM upgrade ONLY additional 8 GB RAM you will not see a major difference.

Jan 17, 2025 · If through some of this you more thoroughly suspect the keyboard, take it to an Apple Store, link it to a demo Mac Mini there and see if these issues will repeat. That would show that it is a problem beyond only your one Mac Mini. And if I did this, I'd then try the exact same with a Mac Studio and see if it repeats with a different Mac model.
