Nov 12, 2020 · Even though the mag is completely hard, when rubbing against the metal it feels as if though it is not. The mag locks up easily, out of most of the inserts I only had to slap the bottom of the mag a few times to fully seat it. To remove it got hung up a few times and required some extra force to pull it out of the mag well.

Feb 10, 2017 · Also, I can tell you that the Lula loader works well with every type of MP5 mag I have tried... HK, US made, POF, ATI, MKE (even the plastic ones from RTG). However; the "latest 4th generation KCI Korean mags" do not work well with the loader. The problem is the leading edge of the catch area is smoothed over and very shallow.

Aug 21, 2020 · I have purchased two different types of mag pouches for my MP5 30 round magazines. I bought some Galati International pouches that have slots for four mags on each side for a total of eight mags in the pouch. The slots are a little deep, so I had to put mag pulls on the ends to extend the length so I could grab them more easily.

Jan 31, 2025 · LIQ marked 40rnd mag. Same story as item #5 above but the feed lips are in good shape. Instead this mag is missing the small front tap weldment on the mag (See photos). This should be an easy thing to replace if you can weld and I was going to do it myself but I just don’t have the time. $90; Mp5 mag marked 9mmX19 but an unknown manufacturer.

Dec 8, 2023 · I’ve been shooting USPSA with a SP5 for a few years but have never had any proper training on the MP5/SP5 platform. I currently use 2 Safariland 774 Kydex mag pouches & a magnet for competitions. I think it’s about time that I get some proper training. Most of the courses I’m seeing require a sling, mag pouches, & lights.

Sep 30, 2011 · Basically any M-16 mag pouch will fit 2- Dual Mag Clamped MP 5 mags perfect. I've used army surplus M-16 mag pouches, cut off the flap, then put some elastic around the top to hold mags in, works great. As the Tom dubbed " He with too many magazines" should know!

Jul 16, 2015 · Bravo said they don't make them, never heard back from Raven. Blade-Tech offers single mag carriers for the curved mags. A few other companies came up while I was using my Google-foo, don't have the info at the moment though. EDIT - Looks like James posted with better info while I was typing. I don't see any MP5 mag carriers on the Raven site.
