The Truck, Utility, ¼-Ton, 4×4, or simply M151 was the successor to the Korean War M38 and M38A1 Jeep Light Utility Vehicles. The M151 had an integrated body design which offered a little more space than prior jeeps, and featured all-around independent suspension with coil springs.

So it can be hard to determine if the picture is 100% Vietnam. My goal is to provide information for the M151 owner and preserve the legacy of the men and women that were there. There are quite a few pictures that can truly give you a glimpse of their daily lives. Enjoy.

The United States military series of jeep known as the M151, came as a result of Ford Motor Company having been awarded the contract for development of replacement vehicles for the aging US military fleet of WWII and Korea.
