Apr 23, 2005 · The last serial number I could find was in 1954 and is about 1000 s/n's less than your Cub. There were 5 sold in 1955 (4 L-21's and 1 PA-18 ). porbably with serial numbers ending in 78 - 81 and 49 (notice the corolation in U.S. mil. number and serial number in first set).

Oct 6, 2012 · There is no difference between a PA-18 and an L21 other than the shape of the window. All L21's have a military history. Mine is a 1954 L21B that started out as a 135HP.
