Apr 11, 2014 · My 94 XJS 4.0 has the oil pressure gauge run at just under 8 bar when hot and driving. At warm/hot idle is nearer the bottom but the pointer flickers about a bit. So I am assuming I have the original type sender and not the dumb switch fix Jaguar later introduced.
