Dec 18, 2021 · Also is copying the roblox icon to the desktop, then doing what you do to get the beta, and then, change the new icon name to something like “Beta app”, so roblox doesnt delete it when updating. Wdym? No matter what you do, the desktop shortcut will still need to be updated every Wednesday.

Oct 9, 2023 · Hello from 2024. Still an issue. I have a ton of Roblox studio shortcuts in my trash bin. I’ve also noticed that if you put it in a folder, it’ll still create a shortcut on the desktop even if the folder is already on the desktop.
