Sep 30, 2020 · The 10 round mags didn't come until much later due to politics in the 90's. t that time Glock developed the 10 round mag to comply with those policies. And some of the less free/communist run states still mandate 10 round mags. But they are interchangeable. After getting the 15 round mags, hang on to the 10 rounders for spares.

Feb 13, 2025 · The most popular/preferred GLOCK model is the 19. The shortest production GLOCK slide is the crescent serration. The shortest production GLOCK frame is the RTF2. With those characteristics, I would consider the GLOCK 19 RTF2 with gilled serrations to be the most readily available and affordable GLOCK holy grail for collectors.

Oct 15, 2022 · Years ago I used to carry a G19 (and a 15-rounder mag in the gun) and a spare 15-rounder mag with OEM +2 base plate as a back-up mag on my weak side. (Back then X-Grip did not exist. The old 15-rounder with OEM +2 baseplate fits more securely and nicely in G19 than a loose G17 mag, anyway.)

Feb 15, 2025 · An adapter ring that converts Gen 5s to allow Gen 3 springs may work if someone wanted to use Gen 3 Glock 17 springs but I wouldn't mess with it unless SAR parts dried up which I doubt. If nothing else they'll become more mainstream. I'd guess the stock spring is probably good for 10,000 anyway
