Glock “lack” of innovation a positive? | Glock Talk
Feb 13, 2025 · We can love Glock's original, reliable designs (I love them myself!). But we can have a "Glassic" (Gaston Classic) line, AND a new model (S&W can sell revolvers AND polymer guns, H&K still sells the new VP9 AND the USP, SIG can still sell the Classic P Series metal guns AND their newer polymer lineup, etc.).
Glock 43 | Glock Talk
Dec 14, 2024 · The Glock 43 is perhaps THE easiest-to-conceal 9mm pistol. As @Jim Watson noted above, it depends on your outerwear, but the G43 can be worn concealed OWB, IWB, or pocket carry. Because my pants of choice have fairly large pockets, I prefer carrying my G43 in a pocket holster (in my case, Clinger ComfortCling).
What is the holy grail for Glock Collectors? | Glock Talk
Feb 13, 2025 · The most popular/preferred GLOCK model is the 19. The shortest production GLOCK slide is the crescent serration. The shortest production GLOCK frame is the RTF2. With those characteristics, I would consider the GLOCK 19 RTF2 with gilled serrations to be the most readily available and affordable GLOCK holy grail for collectors.
So, Have You Had One Break? (factory sights) | Glock Talk
Feb 13, 2025 · Glock 17.3 failure to chamber, being out in a field and unable to clear the jam, I used the heal of a Western boot, thus shearing off the rear sight. Replaced with TFX Pro sights 2. Last year practicing with a G20sf shooting Magtech 180 FMJ, about 85 rounds into the session, failure to chamber.
Staccato HD .. Glock mag compatible for Shot Show 2025
Jan 9, 2025 · Staccato/STI mags notoriously required tuning. Drop a mag on the feed lips and you might have to re-tune it. They are also expensive, as compared to Glock mags. I like the idea of the 2011 taking Glock mags. Plus if someone wanted, they could still have a G26 as backup and use the same mags.
Glock 21… | Glock Talk
Dec 31, 2024 · I ended up with a basically new Glock 21 Gen 5 MOS in a recent trade, and while it shoots fine, I am not sure I am that enamored with it. I tend to shoot 45 through a Glock 30S with a 21 mag and x-grip, or a 1911. I like the 30S and shoot it pretty well. The 21 is a bit more accurate. But the grip is really big.
Hey 19 | Glock Talk
Feb 12, 2025 · I have a good number of Glock's in Gen3, 4, & 5. As much as I love the 19/23 sized pistols I did not get a Gen5 19. I have more than one G45 and used that to not get the Gen5 19. After Gen5 22 I had to have Gen5 23. Well, I didn't like the thick slide on the 23 but love it on the 22. Glock luck kicked in for me when I slapped together a 23X.
10 mm Stock Barrels - Glock Talk
Feb 14, 2025 · Fast forward 20+ years several other Glock models and 10mm handguns later, I leave my Glocks stock other than sights and optics. I’m an avid reloader and shoot mostly higher end loads, not nuclear or above book loads, frequently with hard cast lead. In my experience for my uses the stock Glock barrels are good to go and an unnecessary expense.
Am I the only one who actually prefers stock Glock sites?
Feb 15, 2025 · It cost $31 from Midwest Gunworks. $14 for the steel front sight, $14 for the steel rear sight, and $3 for the proper front sight screw. Glock also offers OEM glow in the dark steel sights, but the glow in the dark feature requires "charging" with a bright light to get them to glow. I bought a set just out of curiosity. They suck. I have two G44.
9” barrel - Glock Talk
Dec 10, 2024 · Hi Glocksters! I’m new to a Glock Pistol, always been a Revolver guy. I just purchased a Glock 20 SF and I want to hunt Deer and Hog with it. I’m considering getting the 9 inch Wolf Barrel for it. Anyone hunt with this set up and how does it perform velocity wise with 180 Grainers? Thank...
