The Devil Axe (Japanese: デビルアクス Devil Axe) is a rare axe that was introduced in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light. It is a high-risk, high-reward weapon: it has exceptionally high raw power compared to other axes, but it has a chance of backfiring and damaging its wielder instead of the target.

There's a sub-quest for the Hatchet and Devil Axes you get. Other than that, coin fodder.
