Ceruledge is a Fire/Ghost type Pokémon introduced in Generation 9. Ceruledge dons an old set of armor steeped in grudges and wields blades made of fire and ghost energy. In battle, these blades transform into great swords to increase Ceruledge’s power.

Nov 30, 2022 · Close Combat allows Ceruledge to hit Pokemon Tyranitar/Mega Tyranitar and Hydreigon super effectively. Shadow Sneak can be used instead if you want to have a priority Ghost STAB. Focus Sash lets Ceruledge survive a powerful hit provided it is at full HP.

Nov 22, 2022 · Ceruledge has Bitter Blade to heal off damage and is more difficult to kill with aqua jet. Ceruledge is also slightly faster (85 base speed compared to Armarouge's 75). Ceruledge also has swords dance in its base moveset (no tm/hm/move tutor) compared to Armarouge's calm mind, allowing it to set up to +4/+6 offensive faster than Armarouge.

Apr 7, 2023 · Ceruledge is easily better with higher speed, stab priority, and a better typing than Armarouge which is fire psychic while ceruledge is fire ghost which is better defensively. Armarouge has no priority to make up for its slow speed stat.

Armarouge is exclusive to Pokémon Scarlet, and is the counterpart to Ceruledge.
