May 15, 2023 · Leave it in the water all the time. It will soak and 'clean' it. You squeeze it before use. Leaving it out of the water takes too much work to squeeze it out after cleaning the last spill. Squeeze the water out after each use and leave it in the squeezer out of the water. If left in the water, there is too much water in it for the next small spill.
