It really made no sense to keep it around. Removing Age of Aries as a concept and from all chapters, which resulted into needing new chapters segmentation.

Magi are the stars, but it's really a medieval family saga following the lives of people as they grow up, build their legacy, and eventually hand the torch over. The various monsters appearing in Ars Magica are drawn from the same folklore and mythologies that most fantasy RPGs draw their monsters from. Dragons, goblins, werewolves, demons - they all appear in Ars Magica, but are in no way unique to Ars Magica. I agree 100% with this.

Jul 30, 2020 · I really liked playing ars-magica with a group that had an experienced DM, but can no longer attend that group. I would really like to learn how to play/lead that game, but the rulebook is super complicated and it feels like only experienced players can start leading their own groups without akwardly stopping to search for instructions every move.
