Today we are going to make a simple alcohol indicator that can be used in small devices or for the demonstration of simple small projects for an Alcohol detector using Arduino.

An IoT-powered alcohol detection system that enhances road safety by detecting alcohol in the driver’s breath, immobilizing the vehicle, and sending location alerts via SMS using GPS and GSM modules. Built with Arduino and compatible sensors, it’s designed for public and private vehicles to reduce alcohol-related accidents.

So we here design a smart alcohol detector system using arduino coupled with gsm and gps for location transmission. The system allows for automatic sensing of alcohol in breath, we also use a motor to demonstrate as a vehicle.

Our paper focuses on an alcohol detection system for vehicles utilizing an MQ3 alcohol sensor and an Arduino-powered buzzer with GSM and GPS for location transmission and also have adxl rash driving sensor for rash driving detection, anti-theft detection.

This circuit utilizes an Arduino UNO to monitor alcohol levels via an MQ-3 sensor, control a DC motor through an L298N driver, and communicate location with a GPS NEO 6M module. When alcohol is detected, the system halts the motor, activates a buzzer and LED for alerts, and sends the GPS coordinates via SMS using the Sim800l GSM module.
