
Homemade pneumatic graver - The Engraver's Cafe
Feb 21, 2015 · It's loosely based on the airgraver, but the piston doesn't idle. It has a spring that keeps the piston in the forward position until the air flow is triggered. It operates off straight compressed air. The air consumption seams pretty good, I've been running it from a 3 gal portable air tank and get about 30 mins or so between fill ups.

Apr 14, 2019 · I've read a lot about the Lindsay Airgraver (but from threads dated 2008-2013....) and know that the GRS and Enset systems exist out there. My objectives are to do air-assisted milgrain on jewellery, and be able to transfer some of the wood/calligraphy work I do over to small metal pieces (e.g. 2mm wide ring shanks). Some basic bead setting.

Apr 15, 2020 · The airgraver runs now with a tiny amount of air like your car uses a bit of gas. When you increase the amount of air either by palm pushing or with the foot control (depending on if you are use either the classic or artisan) the airgraver runs forward.

GRS or Lindsay? - The Engraver's Cafe
Jun 18, 2008 · That was a very smooth change of subject. As Mr. Biggs stated a tool is olny as good as the hand controling it. I like Mr. Vilts prefer the Lindsay Airgraver. It just feels more natural in my hand, and has a much lighter makeup. I started with GRS tools, and enjoyed them also. I chose the Lindsay system for it's compact design, and feel.
