Dec 9, 2021 · My SLR 107 is close enough to scratch the AK-103 itch for me, even though it is basically an AKM with an AK-100 appearance package like the PSA; but from the pictures the only thing that looks MIM to me is the recoil spring assembly base. It has those circular mold ejection marks on it like the MIM triggers on the new Colt revolvers.

Oct 13, 2023 · Unless you're going to Marshall and having an AK-103 clone built, this is as close as it gets today. Even the Bulgarian SLR-107FR doesn't do it and I'll say my KR-103 outshoots that rifle and seems better built for that matter.

Jul 21, 2021 · after trying several time, its impossible for MK47 to beat the AK-103 at price during the recoil 66~90. even use the DDR-4C on flea at the price over 60k, ak-103 is still cheaper than MK47. So if you dont want to dump money into mk47 to at least get a surpressor and make the recoil lower than 61, AK-103 is a better choice, besides mk47 looks ...

So I’ve decided to take it upon myself to do a 10,000 round durability test between the PSA AK-103 premium (FN barrel) and two imported AK pattern rifles. What do you guys want to see it go up against? I’ll provide video updates after 1000, 2500, 5000, 7500, and 10k rounds with coverage of all internals and any issues. This is per rifle.

I want something approximating the general form and function. I'm looking for a reliable simple self-defense weapon, which a basic AK-103 clone would be, provided it's well executed.

The regular piece has that little lip, which is supposed to prevent it from flying off under grenade fire, but I guess it didn't work as well as it could, and various countries made new ones (in addition to Russia's push-button, Hungary has a toggle switch on their AMP-69, and the Tantal has a lock that slides down).
