Oct 19, 2021 · Does anyone have any experienced knowledge about available GSM modules which support 4g and/or 5g? I've started a project with a SIM808, only to have my hopes dashed by the news that 2g networks won't be in operation much longer.

Nov 7, 2023 · 4 or 5G is probably the best option for the next 10 years as I've 3G is also planned to be phased out by 2030 in the UK. I've looked at the SIM7600 although they are currently 10x the cost of a SIM800 module so looking for alternatives.

However that only works on 2g, and in my country they're already starting to stop 3g in some spots, 2g is long gone.
