Apr 10, 2017 · When I open SQL server management studio it shows up in the task bar but somehow it never appears on my screen, even when I do alt+tab to switch to SQL server window, it still shows up in the list of applications but does not appear when I select this application.

Dec 10, 2009 · Well, not in Windows 7 you can "pin" it to fixed position on task-bar. (Right-click icon on task-bar, when SSMS is open - you will see a "pin"). So you will always know that it is located for example at the beginning of the task-bar.
