Mar 13, 2023 · It's a Japanese console. The "J" in "NTSC-J" is a dead giveaway. American consoles are designated "NTSC-U", Japanese ones are designated "NTSC-J". It has to do with the TV standard. European and other countries are typically designated "PAL", very rarely do you see "SECAM". That one's more of a French exclusive.
