Apr 1, 2022 · Might be placebo though😅 currently my best laps at Brands Hatch are 1.23,4xx in quali and 1.23,2xx in race. VRS setups are way too snappy for me, one moment you have all the grip and rotation in the world and suddenly you lose front or rear and then immediately get it back but the countersteer sends the car to shadow realms.

Sep 13, 2023 · Just to add. I think the F4 car is one of the best cars to teach throttle modulation. Throttle input has a great impact on rotation once you begin to feel the limit of the car. Do too much and you’ll oversteer. With the F3 it’s already much easier. But if you master the F4, you can transition to other cars much easier.

Join the karting club and do wheel-to-wheel races. It'll be expensive, but still way cheaper than anything F4 related and you'll learn a huge amount.

As for tracks, F4 runs a decent amount of free tracks. The new season will start in a couple weeks. I would wait until that season starts, and then you can buy tracks from that schedule.

Mar 8, 2022 · However it makes me feel like we could use with a modern day F3 car. I feel like this F4 should provide for some fun racing. Curious as to why week 13's schedule is only using free tracks but they did include setups for paid tracks. I haven't checked the full schedule yet and so don't really know where it actually falls. Whatever the case, fun car.

Nov 14, 2023 · Arbs and brake bias typically are relatively easy adjustment for car balance. Tire pressures i'd just leave at the minimum. Also do note that iracing also provides setups for each track that the f4 is going to. Other than that. Test and experiment. Just change something and drive and see how it affects handling

Jun 30, 2023 · In a downforce car, you need to first slowly release the brake while keeping the wheel straight, then release the brake faster at the start and slower at the end for trail braking while turning in. While both phase is about releasing the brake slowly, the first phase is linear while the trail braking phase is more logarithmic.
