Margarita L. Dubocovich, PhD, a SUNY Distinguished Professor of pharmacology and toxicology at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, is a recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring (PAESMEM).

At a recent Society for Leukocyte Biology meeting, three Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences researchers — two doctoral students and a faculty member, all from the Department of Microbiology and Immunology — each took home distinguished awards.

More than 60 percent of our residents go on to fellowships. Over the past five years, approximately 45 percent of our residents have matched to fellowships right here at UB.Over 50 percent have entered practice or an academic career in our area after completing their residency.
