Nov 11, 2013 · By default the horizontal width of the image determines the size of the button. You can override that by entering a custom size. Size 0 means automatic (i.e. use the image width) You can find many custom start button images in the Start buttons section of the Classic Shell forum. You can also find lots of Start buttons on other websites.

Aug 2, 2021 · Here's a special transparent Start button specifically for the use case where you want Open Shell/Classic Shell as the Start Menu but StartAllBack for its taskbar fixes. Put this in C:\Program Files\StartAllBack\Orbs and then from StartAllBack Settings, set this transparent Start button in StartAllBack settings: Taskbar.

Simple Start Buttons A custom start button requires an image that contains 3 distinct parts - one for the normal state of the button, one for the hot state (when the mouse is over the button), and one for the pressed state. The 3 parts must be the same size. By default the width of the start button equals the width of the image.
